Lady Fern (Athyrium filix-femina)
Other Names: Lady fern or common lady-fern
Description: A large, showy, vigorous, lacy-cut, common fernlike fern. They have broad lance-shaped leaves with pointed and lax tips. They grow in circular clusters. The leaves are soft and almost feathery to the touch.
Habitat: Usually in fairly moist semi-shade. Found in meadows, fields, woods, ravines, along stone walls and under trees.
